2025
As another busy year comes to an end, everyone at JH Electrical Services (Leics) Ltd has taken a moment to look back on what’s been a really positive and productive 2025. From large-scale care home developments to retail upgrades and local projects, it’s been a year of steady growth, hard work and great teamwork.
Care Homes & Healthcare Projects
The care sector continued to be a big focus for us this year. One of the standout projects was being appointed to deliver the full M&E package for a new 80-bed care home in Peterborough. Projects like this highlight the trust placed in us to deliver safe, reliable and fully compliant electrical installations in critical environments.
We also made strong progress on other care home developments, including an 81-bed care home in Burton-on-Trent, where our team handled a wide range of electrical works from power and lighting to overall system integration. These projects really showcased the experience and capability of our growing team.
Commercial & Retail Electrical Works
Alongside our healthcare projects, we completed several commercial electrical upgrades throughout the year. A notable one was a mains change and electrical upgrade at a care home in Knowle, Solihull, carried out with minimal disruption — something we always prioritise when working in live environments.
In the retail sector, we completed a full electrical refresh at the Holland & Barrett store in Westwood Cross, including new track and feature lighting, power and data installations, and communications works. It was great to see the finished space come together and ready for customers.
Local Projects & Community Work
Closer to home, we supported local businesses with practical electrical improvements, including a lighting upgrade at a store in Broughton Astley, replacing older fittings with modern, energy-efficient LED panels. These smaller projects are just as important to us and help local businesses improve their spaces while reducing energy usage.
Company Growth, Accreditations & Team Development
It wasn’t just about the projects themselves. This year also saw some important milestones for the business. We successfully achieved SMAS Worksafe accreditation and passed our NICEIC inspection, reinforcing our commitment to safety, quality and high industry standards.
We also welcomed new team members throughout the year, strengthening our workforce and allowing us to take on a wider range of projects across the Midlands and beyond.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As we head into 2026, we’re feeling positive and motivated. With new projects already underway and more in the pipeline, we’re looking forward to continuing to deliver reliable, high-quality electrical services for our clients.
A big thank you to our clients, suppliers and the whole JH Electrical Services team for their continued support throughout 2025. We’re excited to see what the next year brings.
